Brighton Lifeline Humanitarian Aid

A selection of photographs which depict both the need for humanitarian assistance and some of the happiness we can achieve when it is delivered. There are also a selection of other items such as poems and stories.

 

Note to schools & community organisations:
You are welcome to make use of any of these materials in a non-profit environment, although we would appreciate it if you retained a note about their origin to enable people to contact us. Please be aware that the content of some images is very disturbing due to depiction of poverty or war.

Note to journalists:
If you would like to reproduce any of the images, please ask for a high quality version - generally available as 35mm negatives or transparencies, 8x10 prints, or as 300dpi TIFF files. In the event of any reproduction of images or text we would appreciate your organisation making a donation to us. All work is © 1999-2002 by the author or photographer. We have generally not credited them by name for reasons of personal security relating to on-going violence in the Balkans. (Some of the Kosova images are in use in the War Crimes Tribunal, Den Hague.)
